Shamar James

Shamar is a 19 year old college student attending Tidewater Community College studying Criminal Justice. He was born and raised in Chesapeake, Va. His dream is to become a police officer to either work in the Narcotics division or join the SWAT Team. After gaining some experience, he would like to work for the DEA as a F.A.S.T. agent.

Shamar is a fitness buff. He loves to work out everyday, lift weights, and runs (we can tell!)

He is a State Champ in taekwondo and loves to eat everything he sets his eyes on! Ha!

Some surprising things you wouldn't expect about Shamar is that he plays the viola. He loves to go fishing whenever he is free. His dream vehicle is a lifted cobalt blue Ford Raptor.

Shamar has a hilarious little brother who is about to turn 2 years old, who keeps him on his toes! He and his little brother have birthdays 8 days apart, which they celebrate together.

The first thing I thought about during the session with Shamar is that he reminds me of the character Adonis Johnson, son of the boxer Apollo Creed, from the movie Creed. He has a drive for staying in shape! Getting to know him, he's well mannered, intelligent, and a very focused young man.
